To be clear, being mentioned in the documents does not suggest that a celebrity was in any way involved in the crimes linked to Epstein, who died in prison in 2019, or his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of sex trafficking of a minor and other charges in 2021.
