The black-and-white image shows him lying on the bed, dressed in a hospital gown and cap. "Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let's get it," he wrote in the caption.

Tatum's girlfriend, Australian model Inka Williams, showed her support in the comments section, writing, "Big bad wolf. We got disss." _ Channing Tatum explained the reason for his hospital stay in posts on his Instagram Story.

He began his updates by sharing an X-ray of his upper arm and shoulder, revealing that two bones were broken. "Separated shoulder," he wrote. He then shared a second photo of the same area after surgery. "Screwed shoulder. Yay," he captioned the follow-up X-ray, which showed a large screw holding his bones in place. _ Although Channing Tatum didn't reveal how the injury occurred, TMZ reported that, according to their sources, he hurt his shoulder in a fall while skiing during the Sundance Film Festival. He attended the festival to promote his films Josephine and Nuisance Bear - both of which received awards. Although the latest injury occurred while he was enjoying some fun between work commitments, it was't the first time Tatum got hurt on the job... _ After Channing Tatum arrived at a September 2025 Variety interview with a limp, he told the publication that he sustained an injury while filming Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for a December release. According to the report, his stunt double handled many of the physically demanding scenes while he underwent physical therapy.

He noted that they "had tons more shooting" on the superhero flick, including a "big fight" scene with Robert Downey Jr., who portrays Doctor Doom. "It's not about the pain I feel in the moment," Tatum said. "It's knowing I can't take this back. And now I know what the next six months of my life will be like. ... I just hate getting old. In my mind, I'm literally still 30 years old - 26, if I'm honest."
