Actor Rajpal Yadav has been granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court in a Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case. The 54 year old actor, known for his impeccable comic timing, had been lodged in Tihar Jail after surrendering on February 5 to serve a six month sentence. On Monday, Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma ordered relief after noting that Yadav deposited Rs 1.5 crore in the bank account of complainant M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd. The case dates back to 2012 when Rajpal borrowed Rs 5 crore from M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd to finance his directorial debut Ata Pata Laapata.
