"His actions do not reflect the integrity of the agents i work with, and if change does not happen, we will take our talents elsewhere," Summit wrote on X. if casey wasserman doesn't step down, i will not remain with the agencyhis actions do not reflect the integrity of the agents i work with, and if change does not happen, we will take our talents elsewhere- John Summit (@johnsummit) February 13, 2026 Summit is one of the most in-demand DJs in the country right now, and a high-profile client among Wasserman's electronic dance music roster. Last year, as THR first reported, Summit started an EDM festival in New York, looking to fill a void as the largest market in the U.S. was without an annual EDM festival. At present, one of the biggest questions in the situation is if and how Wasserman's agents can leave. Some are stuck in contracts and may have a harder time leaving than their respective clients. Multiple sources have also told THR that some Wasserman agents have advised their clients to go public with their frustrations about the Wasserman situation to help mount more pressure for a resolution that could either have Wasserman or the agents leave the company. Wasserman is facing pressure from minority owner Providence on the situation, though it's unclear how they're advising the mogul. There are now nearly two dozen acts who've either left already or said they'd leave without a change of leadership in recent days over the ongoing scandal, including Louis the Child, Wednesday, Gigi Perez, Best Coast and, most prominently, superstar Chappell Roan. "No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values," Roan wrote this week. "I refuse to passively stand by." While those who've spoken out represent a small percentage of the hundreds of acts Wasserman represents, sources say there's other artists who've departed already but won't be sharing public statements, preferring not to put themselves in front of the news cycle. One source tells THR to expect another departure from one of the agency's highest-profile acts soon, though they wouldn't give further details.
