[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] As the desperate search for Nancy Guthrie stretches on, authorities are making a renewed push to focus the public's attention on what they believe truly matters. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has now released a more detailed description of the man seen in doorbell camera images connected to the 84-year-old's disappearance - and they are doubling down in a major way on the reward for information. According to the FBI's Phoenix Field Office on Thursday afternoon, the individual captured in images and video recovered from Guthrie's doorbell camera is described as a man standing between 5'9" and 5'10" tall with an average build. He was reportedly wearing a black 25-liter "Ozark Trail Hiker Pack," which is a very specific backpack associated with the brand Ozark Trail. It's a highly important detail, and investigators are clearly hoping it helps narrow the field. In a statement released alongside the updated description, officials said: "We hope this updated description will help concentrate the public tips we are receiving." That line feels especially significant when you consider just how many tips have already flooded in. Since February 1, the FBI says it has received more than 13,000 tips in connection with the case. Meanwhile, the Pima County Sheriff's Department reported that it's gotten nearly 18,000 calls so far. Those numbers are staggering. But not every tip has been helpful. A source familiar with the investigation told CNN on Thursday that some of the information coming in has been unrelated to the case entirely. Among the more unusual "tips" have been info from psychics, mystics, and clairvoyants contacting authorities in hopes of assisting. While investigators aren't dismissing the public's desire to help, they are clearly trying to streamline the flow of credible, relevant information. At the same time, they are urging people not to second-guess themselves. Authorities continue to stress that even the smallest detail - something a caller might think is insignificant - could be meaningful. If there is any connection to the timeline, any memory of a vehicle, a person, or unusual activity, they want to hear it. Related: Sheriff On Nancy Guthrie's Case BLASTED FBI In Resurfaced Interview! Oh, and in a very serious escalation, the reward for information has now doubled. Also on Thursday, the FBI increased the amount from $50,000 to $100,000 for details that lead to Nancy's location or to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. That kind of financial incentive signals just how urgent and critical this case has become. Investigators have also now revealed that multiple gloves were recovered during evidence collection. It remains unclear whether authorities believe those gloves were worn by the individual seen in the doorbell footage, but it is another haunting piece of the puzzle. Now on day 12 of the investigation, neighbors in Tucson have also been asked to comb through and submit any doorbell or security footage from all the way back to roughly four weeks before Nancy went missing. Officials are looking for images of cars, unfamiliar faces, or anything that stands out in hindsight. Ultimately, someone out there knows something. And investigators are making it clear: now is the time to come forward. The FBI has offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie, and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Authorities have encouraged anyone with information or tips to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI, 88-CRIME or tips.fbi.gov.
