Two days after surveillance footage was released showing an armed individual approaching the 84-year-old's home in a ski mask, the FBI has released a description of the suspect. "New identifying details about the suspect in the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie have been confirmed," the FBI's Phoenix office shared in a Feb. 12 statement to X, "after a forensic analysis of the doorbell camera footage by the FBI's Operational Technology Division." The update-which included a still photo of the suspect, as well as pictures of a backpack-added, "The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5'9" - 5'10" tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-liter 'Ozark Trail Hiker Pack' backpack."
