With Valentine's Day approaching, Khloé Kardashian just reflected on the time her now-ex Tristan Thompson tried to do something romantic for her... and it totally backfired! During Wednesday's episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, the model recalled a time that the 34-year-old arranged a surprise serenade for her by the singer Giveon! OMG! That's so sweet! She said: "There was one time I was serenaded, and it was I think just a random day because I wasn't expecting it." Related: That's Definitely Lewis Hamilton In The New Kim & Kylie Video The gesture went down "years ago" when "Tatum wasn't born yet" and they only had their eldest True. She was living in her old home at the time when the basketball star asked her to come out to the backyard. The reality star went on: "Giveon wasn't who he was now. And he is just singing. I remember I hated Tristan and I was like, 'Why are you doing this?' And Giveon is pouring his heart out. And Tristan's trying to sit next to me and I'm like, slapping him, and poor Giveon is still singing. It was mortifying." We bet! To make the situation less awkward, Khloé leaned on True, she noted: "I was like, 'God, this guy is such a great singer. I love this guy.' And I remember going inside to get True because I was like, 'I just need like a third person to get [away from] Tristan.' I was so annoyed with Tristan." Oh, no! It's unclear why she was so mad at Tristan. Was she already annoyed about something (they have a messy enough past!) - and this was his failed attempt to make amends? Or did she just feel uncomfortable with the grand gesture? Hmm. Either way, it made for an interesting story to tell, she acknowledged: "It was so funny. And [to] this day, if I see Giveon he'll be like 'Remember, if I could sing live for you two while you guys were fighting and not [break]' ... Giveon was so professional, he was so great, he didn't break his song at all. He's amazing, I love him. But, how awkward for him, poor guy. I love you Giveon."
