It seems the authorities are tracking down a new lead! It's now been 12 days since Nancy Guthrie disappeared into the night. The FBI and The Pima County Sheriff's Department have been hunting down countless tips, and made great strides earlier this week when they obtained Nest doorbell camera footage from Nancy's front porch. But they still haven't arrested anyone, identified a suspect publicly, or found the 84-year-old. Once again, they're now asking for the public's help. According to local Arizona outlets KVOA and KOLD on Wednesday, Ring camera users were asked by investigators to search through and hand over any footage they may have on two specific dates and times due to a reportedly suspictious vehicle spotted in the area near Nancy's home! Related: Police Double Down On New Search Of Annie Guthrie's Neighborhood Per the reports, the police are asking for footage from January 31 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. due to a reported suspicious vehicle on Via Entrada around 10 a.m. Residents are being urged to look at their footage and report anything before the content is overwritten. January 31st is the last night folks saw Nancy. She had dinner with her daughter Annie and her husband Tommaso Cioni at their home before she was dropped off at her house around 9:45 p.m. In the very early morning hours of Sunday, at least one person was seen approaching her home before an unclear nightmare unfolded. So, it makes perfect sense why they want video from that day, especially if they are on alert about a vehicle. But that's not all! They also want footage from January 11 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Whoa! That's weeks before she disappeared! Do they think someone was stalking out the place? Could they be looking into someone who might've been working or just visiting in the area? We've heard previous reports of a suspicious van spotted in the neighborhood, perhaps this is related to that tip?? FWIW, this Ring camera request has not been publicly confirmed or commented on by law enforcement, but Ring cameras have a public "Neighbors" feed that allows public safety agencies to submit requests directly to users in the community, who receive a notification, per the company's website. We can only continue to hope that the authorities are really honing in on a suspect and that the evidence they've gathered so far leads them in the right direction. A tip line has been set up: see HERE. The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie, and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
