Amid a growing number of threat cases targeting celebrities, Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma is the latest to receive one. The Mumbai Crime Branch reported that the actor received a threatening email through Proton Mail from an individual who claimed to have ties with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi gang has also been behind sending death threats to Salman Khan and was allegedly responsible for the firing that happened in April 2024 outside the actor's Mumbai residence. This threatening message came right after Bollywood star Ranveer Singh received a threat over WhatsApp voice message. The unidentified sender reportedly demanded Rs 10 crore from the actor's manager, following which he approached the police. In both these cases, the identity of the senders was hidden. The Mumbai police are investigating these cases. A couple of weeks ago, gunshots were heard outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty's Mumbai residence. Shortly after, a Facebook post surfaced claiming responsibility for the firing in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The post warned Rohit not to interfere in their matters, saying that when he "did not understand", they showed him a "small trailer" and threatened that if he still "fails to understand", the next shot would be fired "inside the bedroom". Five individuals were detailed following this. Amid these threats, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) reached out to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and requested an urgent meeting. The statement read, "The current atmosphere of fear is starting to disrupt shooting schedules, production planning, and the overall morale within the industry. We strongly believe that with your capable leadership and guidance, effective actions can be taken to tackle these issues swiftly and decisively." Talking of Aayush Sharma, he was last seen in the film Ruslaan. He will next be seen in Kwatha. Also Read: Salman Khan Receives Another Death Threat
