A man in Texas killed his own daughter after she spoke out against Donald Trump during an argument - and you will not believe the things that allegedly came out of his mouth amid this despicable act. Lucy Harrison, a 23-year-old Boohoo fashion buyer from Warrington in the UK, was visiting her father, Kris Harrison, and his family in Dallas, Texas, when she was shot in the chest by him back in January 2025. BBC reported that the police in Texas investigated her death as a possible case of manslaughter afterward. But get ready to feel infuriated over what happened next. A grand jury in Collin County later declined to indict Kris, and no criminal charges were ever filed against him - all because, per The Guardian, he claimed the gun accidentally went off while he "lifted it to show her!" However, an official across the pond doesn't agree with those results! An inquest into Lucy's death later opened at Cheshire Coroner's Court, where more details about what happened that horrible day came out - including that the father and daughter got into a heated fight about Trump right before she died. On Tuesday, Lucy's boyfriend, Sam Littler, told the coroner's court that he went with her to Texas, where Kris moved when she was young, for a holiday. He said she often got upset with her dad when he spoke about owning a gun. The Guardian reported that she allegedly told Sam that Kris would take the gun out of the box and walk around with it "like James Bond." A friend of Lucy's also claimed the fashion buyer admitted she felt "extremely anxious" in her dad's home due to "volatility." The pal also noted that Lucy was "categorically anti-gun," so she was worried about staying in a home with a firearm with her two younger half-sisters. And turns out she was right to be concerned... On the morning of January 10, 2025, the same day the couple were set to fly home to the UK, Sam claimed Lucy and Kris got into a "big argument" about Trump before his inauguration, "which led to Lucy running upstairs and being upset." The boyfriend recalled that Lucy asked her father during the fight: "How would you feel if I was the girl in that situation and I'd been sexually assaulted?" Trump has infamously been accused of sexual assault by multiple women. And the father's alleged response? It is disgusting and cruel, so brace yourselves. Sam alleged Kris replied that he had two other daughters who lived with him, so he would not be upset that much. WTF! It's no wonder Lucy was so hurt! Who says that to their own daughter? About a half hour before they needed to leave for the airport, Sam said Lucy was in the kitchen, and Kris took her by the hand in a "mysterious" manner. He then allegedly led her into his bedroom on the ground floor, where he kept a Glock 9mm pistol. Fifteen seconds later, he claimed he heard a "loud bang." Sam said he thought it was a prank at first until he heard Kris screaming for his wife, Heather. Sam continued: "I remember running into the room and Lucy was lying on the floor near the entrance to the bathroom and Kris was just screaming, just sort of nonsense." Awful. BBC reported the dad, who did not attend the inquest, previously went to rehab for alcohol addiction and admitted in a statement sent to the court that he relapsed the day of the shooting, drinking about 500ml of white wine. That's about 3 glasses of wine! Kris claimed he and Lucy were watching a news segment on gun crime when he told her he had a gun and asked if she wanted to see it. According to his account, per the BBC, they then went into the bedroom, so he could show her the handgun, which he kept in the bedside cabinet. He said he bought the gun a couple of years ago because he wanted a "sense of security" for his family. Wow. Despite the other testimonies, he denied ever talking about it with his daughter before. He added: "As I lifted the gun to show her I suddenly heard a loud bang. I did not understand what had happened. Lucy immediately fell." He doesn't know whether his finger was on the trigger or not. However, The Guardian reported the senior coroner, Jacqueline Devonish, argued that Kris was a "secret drinker" who was teasing Lucy with the gun when he shot her dead. She determined that while the dad may not have known the gun was loaded, he "knew full well he had shot his own daughter, pointing a gun at chest height and pulling the trigger." She ultimately ruled that Lucy died due to an unlawful killing on the grounds of gross negligence manslaughter. She concluded: "His actions have killed his own daughter and in the cold light of day it is hoped that he now recognises the risk he posed to her life in circumstances in which he had no experience of guns, had undertaken no training and had never fired a gun."
