TMZ's Harvey Levin was the first to share that his team noticed there was activity in the account during a CNN interview, but he neglected to share further details. Then KGUN 9, who has also received the ransom notes, said the activity in the wallet is "less than $300." It's unclear who sent the money and if there's been further developments on the account. Some have speculated this is the authorities' way of testing to see if they can figure out who the account belongs to, particularly if the money is transferred out, which could be traced.
