A man has been detained and released by police in connection to Nancy Guthrie's alleged abduction! On Tuesday night, the Pima County Sheriff's Department confirmed in a statement shared on social media that they "detained a subject during a traffic stop south of Tucson." A home belonging to his mother-in-law, Josefina Maddox, was searched by police, and all the residents' phones were reportedly taken. The Pima County Sheriff's Department followed up later in the night, per People: "Investigators have completed their search of a property in Rio Rico. Nancy Guthrie investigation is ongoing. No further details at this time." Law enforcement told CNN that the detention was based on leads, but that the individual was not charged.
