After Pearl Fernandez pleaded guilty to killing her 8-year-old son Gabriel Fernandez, she is now claiming she was "coerced" into entering a guilty plea and is requesting that she be resentenced. Fernandez, 42, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in March 2018 in connection to Gabriel's death in 2013.
