Minnesota GOP Gubernatorial candidate Jeff Johnson's daughter, Hallie Marie Tobler, was "killed in a violent crime" that seemingly involved her husband, according to reports. The St. Cloud Police Department confirmed that Tobler was found dead at the age of 22 inside the apartment she shared with her husband on Friday, February 6, according to CBS News. The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office said that she died from injuries sustained from "multiple stab wounds." Meanwhile, police said that her 23-year-old husband also suffered "life-threatening injuries" that were believed to be self-inflicted. "Based on the investigation, it is believed that (the husband's) injuries are self-inflicted and that he is the person responsible for Hallie's injuries and death," police said in the news release. The husband - whose name has not been publicly released - is currently in police custody and is being treated at St. Cloud Hospital. No charges have formally been pressed against him. An investigation into Tobler's death remains ongoing. The St. Cloud Police Department is working with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension amid the investigation.
