Shahid Kapoor recently turned nostalgic while promoting O'Romeo, which is set to release in theatres on February 13. During the event, the actor recalled a deeply personal memory from Kala Ghoda, taking everyone back almost 30 years to his very first shoot. What made the moment special was that the ad featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, making it an unforgettable starting point for his journey. Calling it a "full circle moment," Shahid shared, "Yeh jagah mere liye kaafi special hai, kyunki almost 30 saal pehle, maine apna pehla ad yahin shoot kiya tha. Main tab bohot chhota tha." He added that he clearly remembers standing on set, quietly observing everything around him. "Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha tha ki kya ho raha hai, but somewhere, wahi se meri journey shuru hui," he said, reflecting on how that moment unknowingly shaped his future. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O'Romeo is an action romance drama inspired by true events. The film boasts an impressive ensemble featuring Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Farida Jalal and Disha Patani, along with Vikrant Massey in a special appearance. The evening also turned into a musical treat as Shahid and Triptii were joined by Rekha Bhardwaj and Sukhwinder Singh. While Sukhwinder brought the house down with a live performance of Paan Ki Dukaan, Rekha surprised everyone by singing an unreleased version of a song from the film. The vibrant atmosphere at the Kala Ghoda Festival perfectly set the mood for O'Romeo's theatrical release on February 13, 2026.
