by Leyla MohammedBuzzFeedBuzzFeed Staff By now, I'm sure you're aware that Bad Bunny put on a SHOW at the Super Bowl LX night. Chris Graythen / Getty Images The star, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, sang a medley of his greatest hits throughout his Puerto Rico-inspired performance, which featured a heap of celebrity guest appearances and performances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. Neilson Barnard / Getty Images For the most part, Benito's performance left viewers - including fellow celebs - beaming with pride. Kacey Musgraves wrote on X, "Well. That made me feel more proudly American than anything Kid Rock has ever done," while Doechii echoed, "Bad Bunny WOW ! Fucking, WOW . History."Well. President Donald Trump, for example, immediately took to Truth Social to brand the set "disgusting," writing, "The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence." Saul Loeb / Getty Images "Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting," he said, later adding, "This 'Show' is just a 'slap in the face' to our Country." And now, Chris Brown has hopped online to seemingly shade Benito's performance, too. Prince Williams / Getty Images Taking to Instagram, Chris - who has never performed at the Super Bowl - wrote, "I THINK ITS SAFE TO SAY.. THEY NEED ME!" alongside a smirking emoji. @chrisbrownofficial / Via Instagram: @https://www.instagram.com/chrisbrownofficial/?hl=en Reacting to the apparent swipe, one internet user said of Chris, "This man is delusional." Another added, "Hating on the outside, as usual." Prince Williams / Getty Images As fans discussed the artist's multiple controversies, one person said, "Genuinely confused. We've never needed you less," while another branded the post as "embarrassing." John Medina / Getty Images "Huh, the audacity?" someone questioned, while one more user wrote, "mind you, Benito on that stage while he on Instagram." Funnily enough, this comes a few years after Chris declared that he'd "never" perform at the Super Bowl. In a since-deleted Instagram exchange, the artist said in response to someone who asked when he's doing the halftime show, "never shawty.. American media AINT fa me. Rather be where I'm welcomed." @chrisbrownofficial / Via Instagram: @https://www.instagram.com/chrisbrownofficial/?hl=en Well then.
