The Grammy Award-winning singer sang a rendition of "America the Beautiful." Carlile, a Washington state native, performed an acoustic guitar-heavy rendition of the song, playing the instrument herself. The folk-ified performance featured a shot of active duty troops of 332 Air Expeditionary Wing, serving the Middle East. A special moment from a proud member of the 12s.
