A couple of days ago, it was reported that Raghav Juyal has come on board for Nitesh Tiwari and Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana. It was widely reported that the actor had replaced Vikrant Massey in the film. While there was no official announcement on Vikrant being a part of the film, it was reported that the 12th Fail actor would play the role of Meghanad in the film. Amid speculations of Raghav replacing Vikrant, the latter took to social media to refute these rumours. However, he deleted the post soon after. Vikrant wrote, "OK. To put things to rest, I was never a part of this movie. Am not, never was. Such irresponsible media coverage from 'respectable' media houses is kinda appalling. Nonetheless, wishing everyone on Ramayana all the very best. Will surely buy a ticket and watch it in cinemas." Variety reported a couple of days ago that Raghav will be seen in Ramayana: Part 2 and will play the role of Meghanad (also referred to as Indrajit). He was the eldest son of Ravana and the crown prince of Lanka. Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Yash as Raavana. Sunny Deol will be seen as Hanuman. The cast also includes Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Lara Dutta. The film will be released in two parts. The first part is scheduled for an IMAX release during Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in Diwali 2027. Meanwhile, an official announcement is awaited on whether Raghav is a part of the film. He was last seen in The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Raghav also has King in the pipeline. Talking of Vikrant Massey, he was last seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. He will next be seen in O'Romeo, Yaar Jigri, Talaakhon Mein Ek and White.
