The Pima County Sheriff is addressing those theories that Nancy Guthrie's son-in-law had something to do with her disappearance. As you know, Savannah Guthrie's mom suddenly went missing over the weekend. Since then, more and more details have come out to suggest something more sinister is going on beneath the surface. Most notably, followers of the case have been theorizing that Nancy's daughter Annie Guthrie's husband could be a potential suspect. Tommaso Cioni was confirmed by the police to have been one of the last people to see her, after all, and the suspect allegation comes from a law enforcement source for journalist Ashleigh Banfield. The police previously shut down Ashleigh's reporting, insisting they have no suspect or person of interest in the case, and they're standing by that. With these theories swirling around, Sheriff Chris Nanos has addressed it in a recent press conference. When asked about Tommaso on Thursday, he replied: "We're actively looking at everybody we come across in this case, we would be irresponsible if we didn't talk to everybody." Related: Nancy's Disappearance - Everything We Know So Far While not saying one way or another if Tommaso is off their radar, he added: "Everybody's still a suspect in our eyes. The family's been very cooperative, they've done everything we've asked of them." He also said the Sheriff's Department "have always believed" in the possibility that Nancy was targeted by someone. For now, they are shutting down all future press conferences. He said they won't be holding any more unless there's a big break in the case or some significant news to share. As of right now, no word on Nancy... But an arrest has been made. We hope she's found safely. A tip line has been set up: see HERE. The FBI has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie, and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
