The police have detailed the exact timeline of Nancy Guthrie's disappearance, as they understand it so far. During Thursday's press conference, the Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared a timeline of events. Nanos noted the times are approximate and were pulled from various data points, such as through doorbell camera data (even though the physical devices were destroyed). First off, it starts off with Nancy's dinner with her daughter Annie and her son-in-law Tommaso Cioni, which took place at their nearby home. She took an Uber to the dinner and was driven home by a family member, but they are no longer specifying which one (after reports varied between Annie and Tommaso). January 31, 2026 5:32 p.m. - Nancy travels to local family's home 9:48 p.m. - Family drops Nancy off at home & garage door opens 9:50 p.m. - Garage door closes Then we move onto the early morning hours of Sunday... February 1, 2026 1:47 a.m. - Doorbell camera disconnects 2:12 a.m. - Software detects person on camera (No video available, no subscription) Chris explained that the doorbell camera company was able to determine a device detected movement (despite the devices being destroyed), however, Nancy didn't have a subscription, so video was not saved. Right now, there's no way for authorities to see exactly what was detected, though he stressed they weren't giving up trying. He noted there's a chance it was just an animal. They have no idea. Oof. He added more in a Q&A: "We know that the tech company that we sent that camera off to, yes, they've said they've run out of ways to recover any video." Jeez. So unfortunate.
