There was a lot of activity in the search for Nancy Guthrie on Wednesday. Not only did Savannah and her siblings, Annie and Camron, release a teary video plea to their mother's alleged captor(s), but a peculiar task force was seen leaving Annie and her husband Tommaso Cioni's home with... a box of possible evidence, maybe?? Hmm. In photos obtained by TMZ, a deputy seen wearing an ICAC shirt, seemingly for the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, was seen arriving at Annie and Tommaso's home on Wednesday afternoon. The deputy had a bag slung over his shoulder. According to the outlet, that bag is believed to be a forensic extraction device used to retrieve data from smartphones, SIM cards, and more. It could have been the Cellebrite Universal Forensic Extraction Device, which can collect encrypted data and deleted content from devices. See HERE. So, what the heck does that have to do with Nancy's disappearance?? It remains somewhat unclear. Reporters outside the home claim agents seemingly seized several items, but it's unclear what, if anything, they may have taken. Hear Fox News' description of the agent sighting: The Pima County Sheriff's Department told TMZ that detectives from multiple units are currently working this case, but that "this does not mean an acronym or unit name on the shirt is indicative of a particular crime associated with this case." They're clearly trying to pull all their resources into finding Nancy as fast as possible. Maybe this team just has the right skills to help with this investigation?? Hmm. Annie and Tommaso were the last two people to see Nancy before she was abducted from her home. They had dinner with her on Saturday night before Tommaso, according to the Sheriff, dropped her off at her home at around 9:45 p.m. local time, only driving off once she was safely inside. A source for Ashleigh Banfield has alleged Tommaso might allegedly be a "prime suspect" in the case, but the authorities have shut down this theory, insisting they have no persons of interest at this time. The Sheriff's Department is now offering a reward of up to $2,500 for images, videos, or information that leads to the arrest of a person or people involved in the disappearance.
