The very first thing that strikes one about Brooke Triplett is how naturally she makes one want to simply flow with her in whichever direction she's leading the conversation. It's not possible to tell if she's even trying to do that at all, rather one simply feels minimal to zilch resistance in gravitating towards her calls, and before one even realizes it consciously, they have already decided to buy the idea, product or programme she was out to sell. This describes not just the way Brooke makes one feel, but also the USP of her remote sales programmes for women at She Sells with Brooke, and explains why women are naturally better at sales than men. Yet, even while it feels completely natural, priceless tips shared on her social media handles make one realize two things - one, that there is in fact a process to this kind of effortless selling, and two, that she has mastered it. She elaborates on this process and much more in She Sells with Brooke's training programmes which are designed not just to create immensely successful saleswomen, but also to touch the lives of these women in ways they never imagined, giving them "identity upgrades" they never knew they needed. The Shift from a Masculine to Feminine Approach in Sales Photo credit: Brooke Triplett, used with permission. When one thinks of a salesman one cannot help but picture a person, generally a man, with a somewhat forceful manner trying to convince one why they need the product he's selling. Yet, more often than not this forceful manner has no bearing on one's decision as a buyer to purchase or not purchase a product. One goes ahead with the purchase only if they truly need the product, regardless of the forceful salesman's loud conviction pushing to convince them about why they need the product. When women first enter sales they try to emulate this energy and that itself is the first pitfall. Reflecting on her own experience as a saleswoman, Brooke shares how she made the same mistake in one of her first sales roles and had men outperforming her in the sales of a women-centric product. Until, she stopped trying to be like these men and instead began tapping into her core strengths as a woman during her sales interactions. These included emotional intelligence, authentic communication, and self-belief. Why Women Are Naturally Better at Sales Photo credit: Brooke Triplett, used with permission. Women are naturally more attuned to feminine traits such as intuition, creativity, connection and empathy and them practically using these traits can powerfully impact a buyer's decision to go in for the purchase - pulling them into it, rather than pushing them to it. For instance, Brooke explains the importance of tonality versus conviction in sales. Answering a man who asks if conviction is enough to close a deal, she says, "You can say all the "right" words on a sales call, but if your tone is even slightly off, they'll feel it. With only conviction, you might unintentionally sound forceful or salesy, and immediately, the trust is gone." Thus, having a natural understanding of these nuances, and higher emotional intelligence gives women an edge in all kinds of high-pressure conversations, including sales deals. Why Brooke Triplett's She Sells Programmes Click with Women Instantly Having scaled the journey from being a primary school teacher to a seven-figure entrepreneur, she gives women a chance through her programmes to be successful saleswomen without stopping to be, and live, as women. Whether that is embracing feminine traits, or letting them live holistic family lives while doing their jobs, her programmes empower women to "build a life where they get to choose their time and create their own opportunities". Her success stories reiterate and establish that a woman does not need to stop being a mother, a wife, a friend, or a woman altogether in order to be a successful saleswoman - one can start and succeed from where they are. One of her trainees shares, "I took a leap of faith into remote sales with She Sells-and I haven't looked back. Now I have total control over my time, and I don't have to miss out on anything with my kids. None of this would've been possible without Brooke's incredible support and mentorship." She has already rewritten what success looks like for 1700 women and aims to reach at least 10,000 women in the next 5 years, but with that magnetically high-performing pull energy with which she's functioning, it is obvious that that might be an underestimation of the impact she's actually going to make.
