Influencer couple Matt and Abby Howard are getting honest about their finances. Matt and Abby, both 27, addressed fan assumptions via a real-time Q&A during the Wednesday, February 4, episode of their "Unplanned" podcast. One person wrote to the podcasters, "You guys are mad rich, like billionaires." "We have a lot of money," Abby admitted, adding, "Gosh, we are in a season of blessing. ... There's people that are richer than us." Matt chimed in, addressing their fans, "You guys made us rich, can we just be honest with that? This would have never happened without the dudes." TikTok Stars Abby and Matt Howard's Relationship Timeline Abby continued, "The word 'rich' has a seriously negative connotation. Growing up, I didn't really like that word, and I didn't really like people that I titled that way. We are making more money than I ever thought we'd make." Matt pointed out that they initially thought their podcast would only bring them "side money, maybe." "We couldn't have done it without you guys," he added of their success. "It's something we're very grateful for every day, and also, it's a very big responsibility that we are generous with it," Abby noted. Abby also clarified that the "estimations" about their net worth online are "not correct." "I feel like money is very taboo, but I also just want to be real," Abby concluded. Abby Howard/Instagram Matt and Abby tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed sons Griffin and August in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The couple rose to fame by sharing marriage and parenthood videos via YouTube, where they have more than 8 million followers, and TikTok, where they have 5.3 million followers. Matt and Abby launched "Unplanned" in 2023. The content creators have also recently been candid about a pregnancy loss they experienced last year. "It is with very heavy hearts that we share about the loss of our baby girl born far too soon," Abby, who had been around 17 weeks along in her pregnancy, announced via Instagram in September 2025. "At a routine pregnancy appointment, our doctor could not find a heartbeat. Shortly after they sent us in for an ultrasound where the technician said words we will never forget, 'I am so sorry I do not have good news." Abby continued, "That is when we got the gender reveal we never hoped for, and also the news that our baby had a genetic condition that took her life around 17 weeks' gestation." Why Matt, Abby Howard Won't Share Condition Their Baby Had Before Miscarriage Matt and Abby reflected on the loss during a December 2025 episode of their podcast. "I think we've had relatively good lives and two or three years ago I remember having this conversation with you about, like, 'Wow, things have gotten so good,'" Matt said. "It was, like, 'What could possibly go wrong?' I feel like this was the thing [that was] for us." He continued, "It really changed my perspective, like, it really is so sad how ... awful this world can be. It's so hard to work though that with your spouse, but we're getting through it and things are looking up."
