In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said the decision was driven by the "evolving daytime television landscape," and added that it "does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production - which has found strong creative momentum this season - or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd. We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms." Sherri, which debuted in 2022, will continue production on its fourth season as planned, with final episodes expected to air this fall. The cancellation news came just hours after NBCUniversal announced plans to end The Kelly Clarkson Show following its seventh season.
