Oh boy! Scarlett Johansson is the latest celebrity to get pulled into the legal mess between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively! In a new audio obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, which the Gossip Girl alum's attorney filed as part of her ongoing lawsuit battle, Ryan Reynolds' ex-wife received a glowing review from Wayfarer cofounder and billionaire Steve Sarowitz! You see, Scarlett made her directorial debut with the 2025 film Eleanor the Great, which is partially backed by Wayfarer Studios. The same production company that is in the middle of her ex-hubby and his current wife's lawsuit battle. What a small world, right? Amid the It Ends With Us controversy, ScarJo insisted to Vanity Fair she had a positive experience with Wayfarer - and the feeling is mutual! Comparing the two women, he made it clear he didn't have the best experience with the It Ends With Us actress! While discussing a female-led project, Steve told filmmaker Claire Ayoub, who wrote and directed Empire of Waist, which Wayfarer and Justin produced: "I love this women's empowerment. We have another first-time director we supported." Claire teased in response: "A woman named Scarlett Johansson? I'm so excited for her!" That led Steve to joke: "We're trying to give her her first big break. Maybe people will hear of her after this." The businessman went on to rave about his time with Scarlett while bashing Blake! He said: "She was so cool, calm, collected and confident ... and nice. It's so interesting because you work with so many people. Almost everybody is nice, and then there's Blake - she is totally different than everyone else. Not to say anything bad about her, but she's different. I think for the most part most people see what we are doing see we're nice and they're nice back. Even if they weren't perfectly nice. I just think some people forgot to learn how to be nice." Well, Blake would argue that Justin and some members of his team weren't very "nice" toward her once filming began. Claire also would say the same, as she allegedly experienced "repeated, negative interactions" and "verbal abuse" from the Jane The Virgin alum while working on Empire Waist, per her September 2025 declaration.
