A suspicious man was seen in Nancy Guthrie's neighborhood just weeks ago. Cops are trying to figure out what happened to Savannah Guthrie's mother over the weekend. She was dropped off at her home on Saturday night after dinner with her daughter and son-in-law. By the next morning, she was nowhere to be seen. Cops have been scouring the neighborhood for any video evidence that would help them find clues as to who took her and what happened, asking anyone to send in any tips they may have. And now, it sounds like they're aware of an important new lead. Related: Police Digging Into Savannah Guthrie Superfans Who've Crossed 'The Line' The Pima County Sheriff's Department told TMZ on Wednesday that in early January - that's just weeks ago - an elderly man who lives less than 10 minutes away from the missing 84-year-old in Tucson, Arizona spotted a trespasser at his home. The case was forwarded to the unit investigating possible leads. Upon speaking to the elderly man, TMZ learned he spotted a loiterer in his yard thanks to a motion sensor that went off and a floodlight that was triggered to turn on. The light scared the man away, and he fled on foot. Unfortunately, nobody was able to get a good look at his face. Nothing was stolen from the yard, and a break-in was not attempted.
