Keep it cool, Ye! Keep it cool! Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton are trying not to ruffle feathers with their new romance. Particularly those of her ex husband, Kanye West. Listen, we all remember how Ye didn't take it so well when Kim got with Pete Davidson post-divorce. There was messiness, insults flying, and just general unease for everyone involved, most especially the poor SKIMS founder. But with her new F1 man, Kimmy Kakes is trying to keep it low-key, mainly for the sake of not upsetting Kanye. Of course, after the Yeezy founder's apology, whether you believe it's genuine or not, he seems more calm. He even went out with Bianca Censori again recently, and the internet was shocked to find the couple behaving so modestly after so many controversies. It looks like, for now, he's doing better! But that's exactly why Kim and Lewis don't want to rock the boat by making their relationship more public. A source told DailyMail.com on Tuesday Ye's past friendship with the Scuderia Ferrari driver also comes into play: "They are concerned about what Kanye would think about this, since he was friends with Lewis in the past. [Kim] doesn't want to make this look like she is poking the bear." The pair are very aware, per the source, that their relationship could "trigger Kanye in so many ways" and are keeping it a "friends-with-benefits" situation: "[They're] using kid gloves with this hookup and currently not making it any more than just fun." Lewis doesn't want to take on the responsibility of Kim and Kanye's four kids - North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm: "Lewis and Kim are not dating exclusively. He's not looking to settle down with anyone, including Kim. Lewis isn't looking to be a stepdad. [He's] not looking to be the 'it' couple with Kim." Not to mention, these two live super busy lives! Relationships take time to blossom - and they just don't have that kind of time. Regardless, "calm spirit" Lewis has been there for Kim as she navigates her "complex co-parenting situation" with Ye. He's been "friends with the family for a long time" and the reality TV star's kids "love" him. So it's nice to have the support! Even if it's not serious, though, word has it the KarJenner clan has been calling Lewis a "sophisticated upgrade" from the Runaway rapper. They reportedly have dubbed him Kim's "Russell Wilson," who married Ciara after her divorce from Future. Ha! Sounds like they're wishing for Kim to stick to being on Team LH!
