Watch: Eli Manning Makes His Super Bowl 2026 Prediction Ahead of GameTreVeyon Henderson is embracing this romantic touchdown. The New England Patriots player announced he and his partner-whose name has not been publicly revealed-got married in a private ceremony, days before his team will match-up against the Seattle Seahawks at the 2026 Super Bowl on Feb. 8. "We got engaged first," TreVeyon, 23, said in the Feb. 2 episode of The Walk podcast. "Then we eloped and made it official." Indeed, the running back shared a look at their proposal on Instagram last September. At the time, he posted a heartfelt photo of him and his partner smiling in front of a "Marry Me" sign, the ground covered in rose petals. "Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing," he captioned the post. "But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30." True to his words, the NFL star's faith had a massive impact on his relationship with his wife-who he first met in 2022, around the time he was recovering from a leg injury he sustained while playing at Ohio State University-and his family. photosSuper Bowl Commercials 2026 "One thing that I was holding on to was sexual immorality early in my faith," he explained. "I remember waking up one day and reaching a point on my walk with the Lord where it was like, 'Choose whom today you will serve.' He's been so patient to me, man." TreVeyon continued, "When I woke up that day, I couldn't press on until I really decided to give up my life and follow Jesus. So in that moment, I knew I had to have a conversation with my girlfriend." He then gave her the choice to either break up or stay together, ultimately inviting her to "come along" with him as he forged his religious path-and she chose the latter option."The Lord, he delivered us," he added. "He kept us pure for a couple years until we got married. Growing as a husband and learning the beauty of marriage...
The Lord, he's still working on my heart. It's been great though being married so far." But TreVeyon is not just relishing in this new chapter of his love life. He's also gearing up to potentially take home the Super Bowl trophy, which the Patriots last won in 2019 against the Los Angeles Rams. "I never would've imagined that," he admitted of the football milestone, before reflecting on his training progress. "Training has been challenging, man. It's taxing on the body [and] on the mind, but I feel like God is growing me through these things. He's growing me through the hardships and I'm just learning to be grateful."
