The police are leaving no stone unturned in the search for Nancy Guthrie. The 84-year-old has been missing since she was last seen on Saturday night. Police have been looking for her for days now, and they're coming up pretty empty-handed, confirming on Wednesday morning that they have NO suspects at this time. Oh, no... Many wondered if this was a targeted attack, and that hasn't been ruled out yet. Apparently, authorities are investigating the possibility that this could have something to do with a superfan of The Today Show host Savannah! Related: Savannah's Brother-In-Law Was Last Person To See Nancy A senior source told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that investigators contacted NBC to learn if there had ever been any troubling interactions from fans of the daytime show. The insider explained: "There are so many people who reach out and just get a little bit too familiar. So many." Unfortunately, dealing with this is a pretty standard part of many morning show hosts' lives, the source noted: "That's always been an issue, as long as I've been here. Matt [Lauer] used to have so many women reach out and some of them were pretty delusional. Hoda [Kotb] had a few but not a lot. Michael [Strahan] had some. I don't think Savannah has more crazies than anyone else, but she has had a few people who just cross the line, too much communication, sending gifts, asking her out, just not knowing boundaries." That's sadly common for SO many celebrities. And when you're in peoples' homes everyday, it's not hard to see how someone might develop a parasocial relationship. It remains unclear if NBC offered up any troublesome interactions to the police, the source added: "Usually she just deals with them, that's kind of how it's done. Just ignores them and they go away. I don't know of any that really scared her, but there are definite fans that make her go, 'Hmm'. That's the nature of being on TV. People don't know boundaries." It's important to follow every lead right now. It's hard to tell if anything has come of this, but Savannah and her security team are said to be cooperating with police during this investigation. That said, Sheriff Chris Nanos told the NYT on Wednesday that they have "no credible information" indicating this was a targeted attack at this time. A tip line has been set up: see HERE. The Sheriff's Department is now offering a reward of up to $2,500 for images, videos, or information that leads to the arrest of a person or people involved in the disappearance.
