The parents of a 2-month-old baby girl, who authorities said was severely neglected and abused before she died in October, have been indicted in her death. A grand jury indicted Kaylee Faye Fontenot, 20, and Taylor Daniel Broussard, 19, on first-degree murder charges in connection with the abuse of their daughter, the St. Landry Parish District Attorney's Office announced in a Monday, February 2, news release. Fontenot and Broussard's baby girl had been born healthy "without complications," the district attorney's office said.
