Ahead of her highly anticipated Summer House debut, Dara Levitan dished about her costar dynamics, filming the reality show and what fans can expect when she steps into the spotlight. "I think you'll definitely see the lover girl in me, which I think I've hinted at in my life and my content," the beauty content creator, 33, exclusively told Us Weekly before the Tuesday, February 3, season 10 premiere, noting some things will still be kept private. "But I think you're going to see, you know, my softer side, maybe a more nervous side, maybe a more blushing side, and, you know, just the process of bonding with women and men alike." Levitan came face-to-face with ex West Wilson while filming the hit Bravo show. She told Us that she was unfazed by the encounter, and more so looking forward to her overall experience. (Us previously learned that Wilson reunited with not one, but two exes as Ciara Miller is also among the cast members.) "I honestly am not the type of person that finds a lot of situations super awkward," Levitan shared, echoing his remarks on them being "very cool" after their past involvement. Levitan further clarified to Us, "I would say it took time for the warmth to, to foster, you know, but the same is true, I feel, you know, you don't meet someone and automatically become best friends the next day and especially if you've dated the same person." She noted, "You're gonna come in a little guarded, which is always understandable." Levitan, who has worked with Fenty, Pat McGrath and NARS, also dished about the current dating scene. Where Ciara Miller Stands With 'Summer House' Ex West Wilson "The grass is always greener, and I think that a lot of times you jump the gun before you really know someone and you give them a shot," Levitan told Us, highlighting that it's important to maintain boundaries especially while looking for a romantic match. As for what has improved in the dating scene, Levitan - who has a podcast on the horizon where she will talk about relationships, friendships and more - told Us, "I think that especially for women, they are learning not to settle. That makes me extremely happy as somebody that is dating at 33 to look around and see so much empowerment within women and really wanting to raise the bar in terms of who they're choosing as a partner." Levitan said that she led with "authenticity and honesty" while filming this season, adding that fans will likely get a glimpse of her clumsy side. When asked about getting reality TV ready, she told Us that one of her favorite aspects of Summer House is that "it's very pared down." Summer House's BravoCon Panel Reflected on Paige DeSorbo's Departure "Everybody's doing their own glam," she told Us. "Everybody is picking their own costumes for the theme parties. You're running between the rooms asking the girls, 'What are you wearing out tonight?' You're coordinating with the boys." Levitan said they were "DIYing it up" and she wasn't opposed to getting a "last-minute" delivery. And she also spilled about her beauty must-haves, telling Us that if she had to choose three it would be "blush, lip liner and a glowy SPF." Summer House premieres on Bravo Tuesday, February 3, at 8 p.m. EST and airs the next day on Peacock.
