A probable affidavit obtained by CNN says that, according to two people who came forward to speak with police, McKee "forced unwanted sex" with Monique and "had told Monique that he could kill her at any time and would find her and buy the house right next to her, that she will always be his wife." McKee's defense attorney Diane Menashe declined to provide a comment to CNN about the details mentioned in the affidavit. McKee is a vascular surgeon most recently living in Chicago, according to CNN. He was arrested in connection to the Tepes' deaths in Illinois on January 10, a Winnebago County Sheriff's Office spokesperson previously told Us. Monique and McKee had their divorce finalized in June 2017, after they were married in Columbus in August 2015, according to court documents viewed by Us.
