Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones still can't believe what's unfolding with Savannah Guthrie's missing mom, Nancy Guthrie. "We're starting the show the same way we did yesterday and we will continue to do," Bush Hager, 44, said on the Tuesday, February 3, episode of Today With Jenna & Sheinelle. "[We are] sending our love to our dearest friend Savannah and to her family. The search for her mom, Nancy, continues." News broke on Sunday, February 1, that Nancy was reported missing in Arizona. Authorities continue to ask for the public's help in locating the 84-year-old, who is in need of medication. "Behind the scenes, we're all rattled. We're all shaken," Jones, 47, said on Tuesday's show. "We all recognize that we have a job to do, but as you guys know, we're family around here. It's not just something we say. We've all been a little rattled." Pima County Sheriff Says He Hopes Savannah Guthrie's Mom Is Found Alive The NBC News journalist - who has been filling in for Savannah, 54, this week while she's in Arizona - continued, "A lot of us had trouble sleeping. We're worried about her. This morning, I woke up and I was nervous and I'm checking my phone to see if there's anything new." Before the sun began to rise, Jones said she came across Savannah's latest statement, in which she asked the public to pray for her family. "I promise you, it gave me this peace, and leave it up to Savannah to impart and remind us of who we are," Jones said. "If she can have faith in a moment like this and ask for prayers, then we are going to give it to her and be reminded by her." Bush Hager added, "What Nancy gave Savannah but also her two other children is this deep and abiding faith and goodness and optimism. ... When I had my son, I asked, 'Who is the most faithful person I know? Who could lead him and his path?' And it's Savannah." "She is a woman who is loved deeply by everyone here at Today," Bush Hager continued on Tuesday's show. "I joked with Savannah that Nancy was one of the first members of my book club. She always reads what I send her. She is an avid reader. She loves mahjong, which is the reason why Savannah and I started." As the search for Nancy intensifies, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared a glimpse into how the Guthrie family is coping as they wait for more answers. 'The View' Ladies Send Support to Savannah Guthrie Amid Mom's Disappearance "As you can imagine, this is tough on all of them," Nanos exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Monday, February 2. "They're leaning on each other. They're very cooperative with us and everything we're doing. They're involved and engaged. It is tough, there's no doubt." Nanos said he didn't want anybody to lose hope. At the same time, police believe Nancy is in danger. "Something unusual at that house occurred that made us go, 'Wow, something's wrong here. Something doesn't fit,'" he told Us. "We're gonna pull all the stops and go at all angles. We really do hope it's a search-and-rescue mission and we find her and she's safe and sound. But it would be unjust if we didn't look at what's in front of us and go, 'We need to act.'"
