Amid Nicola and her husband Brooklyn Peltz Beckham's estrangement from his parents, the billionaire businessman recently weighed in with his thoughts on how he manages the public-facing nature of his family's affairs. "Has my family been in the press lately?" Nelson quipped during The Wall Street Journal's Invest Live event in West Palm Beach, Fla., Feb. 3. "I haven't noticed that at all." As for wisdom the 83-year-old has tried to impart to his 10 children? He said, "My advice is to stay the hell out of the press. How much good did that do?" All jokes aside, Nelson said he would not share specifics on Nicola and Brooklyn's feud with David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, but noted he was in full support of their relationship. "My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story," he continued. After all, the 26-year-old said that the Spice Girls member-also mom to Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, with the former soccer star-had "repeatedly invited women" from his past into his and Nicola's lives in ways that were "clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable."
