The nominees will also have needed to have used sports or adventure as part of their recovery. _ In July, Prince Harry will host the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, England. Rumors have swirled that the Duke of Sussex will invite members of the royal family. However, nothing has been confirmed. _ If Prince Harry's government-funded protection detail approval goes through, Meghan Markle may also attend the sporting event. "Security is always going to be the deciding factor in this," a source told The Sun. _ Prince Harry is also reportedly thinking of asking King Charles III to open the games with him despite their rift. "Prince Harry desperately wants King Charles III at the Invictus Games - and he wants him to open the games alongside him," an insider told The Sun. "Harry wants it to happen both for the games and for their relationship. It's his dream to have his father by his side."
