Why was Nancy Guthrie taken?? That's one of the biggest questions on everyone's minds right now. As we've been covering, Savannah Guthrie's mother has been missing for several days now after she was last seen on Saturday night and reported missing on Sunday. Police believe she was abducted from her Arizona home in the middle of the night, and they've yet to figure out where she was taken. The Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has already been very clear that they're not ruling out any possibility about what happened this case. Authorities are digging into every lead. Many have wondered if this was a targeted attack, and perhaps someone's way to get to Savannah. And with that in mind, it makes you wonder if the motivation is a ransom? He said they would "never rule out" any possibilities, but "there's nothing to indicate" a demand for money has been made. Oof. A ransom would be horrible, but at least it would alert them to whom to look into. While they're digging into various leads, which they're staying very tight-lipped about, cops seem to be largely in the dark, which is why they're urging the public to reach out with any tips. He furthered: "I wish somebody would call us and say, 'Hey,' because that's what the family wants. They just want her back. Hey, no questions asked, call us where to come and get her, and we'll do that." Every minute she's gone matters, especially considering she requires daily medication that could be "fatal" if missed.
