Jana Kramer almost had an awkward moment with ex-husband Mike Caussin. Kramer, 42, opened up about a recent winter storm that almost caused her to spend time with Caussin, 38, during a recent episode of her "Whine Down With Jana Kramer" podcast. After explaining that she felt prepared for the storm to hit Tennessee because she grew up in Michigan, Kramer realized that her car was not properly equipped for the icy weather. She planned to meet husband Allan Russell at the gym with one of her kids and "exchange" children so she could also get a workout in. "It had started to snow but it wasn't bad," she explained. "I'm like, 'OK, I got this. [I'm] from Michigan. And then [I] finish working out, come out, and ... what I realized is my car is amazing, but it's really not in the snow." Kramer then called Russell, 45, and told him that her car was "slipping and sliding." She pulled over at a Whole Foods and met him. In his truck, they all got home safely. "I will say, not having power for those five hours, it got really chilly," she explained. "So I can't imagine the people that are still without power." One of those people who is still temporarily sans electricity is Caussin, 38. "My ex-husband did not have power - still doesn't," she said. "And so I was just like, 'Do you need to come here?'" Caussin ended up staying at a friend's house instead. "I would never not offer," she added. "He went to a friend's because that would have been weird." Kramer is the mom of daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6, whom she shares with Caussin. In November 2023, she welcomed son Roman with Russell. Kramer and Caussin have faced many highs and lows throughout the years. They tied the knot in 2015, but Us Weekly broke the news the following year that he cheated on her with multiple women. In 2021, the parents split for good after six years together and finalized their divorce later that year. Kramer met Russell in 2022 through a dating app. After six months of dating, the lovebirds announced their engagement during an episode of her podcast. Let's go for a walk and let's go walk up to the new house," she recalled in May 2023. "We were all sitting on the front porch steps and just looking out at the view because the view is just, I mean, stunning. And he, like, said my name. And ... then he got down on one knee." Kramer went on to gush that Jolie was so excited that she started "jumping up and down." They tied the knot in July 2024.
