Watch: Sarah Ferguson Makes Major Social Media Change After Prince Andrew Gives Up Royal TitleSarah Ferguson allegedly made a lewd comment about Princess Eugenie in the latest release of Jeffrey Epstein-related files. In the documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Ferguson-who shares daughters Eugenie, 35, and Princess Beatrice, 37, with ex-husband Prince Andrew apparently made a vulgar comment about a then-19-year-old Eugenie's whereabouts. In one email reviewed by E! News from March 2010, Epstein asks Ferguson if she would be up to taking a trip to New York. "Not sure yet," the former royal replied. "Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!" At the time, Eugenie was dating her now-husband Jack Brooksbank-whom she shares kids August, 4, and Ernest, 2, with. E! News has reached out to Ferguson's rep, as well as Buckingham Palace, for comment but has not yet heard back. The latest Epstein file bombshell comes months after Andrew-the younger brother of King Charles III-shared that he would forfeit his royal titles, including Duke of York, due to the continued scrutiny related to his association with the late sex offender. readInside Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's Unusual Relationship 30 Years After Their Divorce"In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family," Prince Andrew said in an Oct. 17 statement released by Buckingham Palace, "we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family." The 65-year-old explained that he has made the decision "to put my duty to my family and country first." "With His Majesty's agreement, we feel I must now go a step further," Andrew, who was given the Duke of York title upon his marriage to Ferguson in 1986, continued. "I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me."Photo by Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty ImagesThough the pair's daughters will retain their official titles, which are both "Her Royal Highness Princess," Royal expert Sharon Carpenter noted that Andrew will keep the title of "Prince," as he is the son of a late monarch. Even so, Andrew's royal duties took a major shift following the drop of his title. "His day-to-day life will look a lot like it has since 2019, but at this point it is highly doubtful we will see him publicly with any senior member of the royal family for the foreseeable future," the expert told E! News in an exclusive interview, later adding that Andrew's update is being seen as "the nail in the coffin and closes the door permanently on any hopes he may have had to one day return to royal life."
