Trevor Noah poked fun at a plethora of celebrities - including Sean "Diddy" Combs and Nicki Minaj - during his final monologue as Grammys host. Noah, 41, kicked it off on Sunday, February 1, by mentioning Lauryn Hill's first performance at the Grammys since 1999, saying, "Do you understand how long ago that was? Back in 1999, the President had a sex scandal, people thought computers were about to destroy the world and Diddy was arrested. Boy, how times have changed." The host continued to bring attention to other celebrities. He mentioned Justin Bieber's return after a four-year absence, adding, "I think better than any Grammy, he has come back as a new dad. ... My personal favorite thing that Justin has done is he told Apple to move the dictation button on the keyboard." Noah then shifted his focus to Justin's wife, Hailey Bieber. "Do you have a discount code for the Rhode lip tint?" he quipped. Grammy Awards 2026 Red Carpet Photos: Stars Arrive for Music's Biggest Night Elsewhere in his monologue, Noah brought up Minaj's absence, joking, "She is not here. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues." The 68th annual Grammy Awards marked Noah's sixth and final run as host. Grammys executive producer Ben Winston recently confirmed that Noah would not be taking on the role again in the future. Amy Sussman/Getty Images "I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time," Winston said in a January statement. "He's been the most phenomenal host of the show. He's so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can't wait to do it together one last time." In addition to taking the stage as a host, Noah has been nominated at the Grammys four times. He previously scored nods in the Best Comedy Album category for "Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia," "Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would" and "Trevor Noah: Where Was I." Music's Biggest Night! Look Back at Grammys Hosts Through the Years Noah is also up for a Grammy this year for his "Into The Uncut Grass" audiobook. He previously found success for his work on The Daily Show. Noah became the Senior International Correspondent in 2014 before taking over for Jon Stewart as the host one year later. "Many people are part of the reason that I'm sitting here today, but above all, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge one man, and that's Jon Stewart," he said at the time. "Thank you, Jon. Thank you for believing in me. I'm not quite sure what you saw in me, but I'll work hard every day to find it, and I'll make you not look like the crazy old dude who left his inheritance to some random kid from Africa." Noah announced in 2022 that he would be leaving the show. "There's another part of my life that I want to continue exploring," he said on The Daily Show about his departure. "The point is, I want to say thank you. Because man, I never dreamed that I would be here."
