Only 28 stars to date have earned the most coveted honor in Hollywood: the EGOT. The awe-inspiring acronym is shorthand for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, the four highest achievements one can receive in the entertainment industry. Each award represents a standout in the field of television (Emmy), music (Grammy), film (Oscar) and theater (Tony) - and it is an incredibly rare feat to capture all four. While it took some celebrities nearly 40-plus years to score the EGOT, others - like John Legend and Jennifer Hudson - have achieved the honor in just a couple of decades. Steven Spielberg became the latest EGOT winner at 79 years old in February 2026 when he won his first Grammy Award.
