Catherine O'Hara stepped out for her final public appearance just months ago. As we've been covering, the world is in mourning after the shocking news of the Home Alone star's passing on Friday. According to TMZ reports, she suffered a medical emergency and was having difficulty breathing on Friday morning in her LA home. She was rushed to the hospital, where she passed away hours later. Catherine made her final public appearance on September 14 at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards and afterparties. She was nominated for both Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for The Last of Us, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for The Studio. She took the stage with her co-stars when The Studio was named Outstanding Comedy Series. The Canadian-American attended the event with her husband, Bo Welch.
