"The show missed any real link to Meghan's royal life, which she left behind in 2020, and had very little reference to Prince Harry and the couple's two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet," she wrote for Daily Express. _ Jasmine Carey believes Meghan Markle's decision to hide her real life with Prince Harry may have cost her the show. "That is what people would have wanted to see," she wrote. "While we, as viewers, didn't necessarily want the series to be as bombshell-like as the Harry and Meghan docuseries in 2022, we did want more than we were given." _ "Being married to Prince Harry and having been part of the royal family is what gives Meghan [Markle] the fame and appeal she has," Jasmine Carey continued. "But she didn't utilize this in the show - and unfortunately, I just don't think people are as interested in the non-royal aspects of her life, at least not yet anyway." _ Although nothing is confirmed, rumors swirled that Meghan Markle's show will not get a third season. "It's not returning as a series. There have been conversations about holiday specials, but there's nothing in the works yet," an insider told Page Six. _ The downfall of Meghan Markle's series might be because of her lack of authenticity. "A lot of her terrible press is brought on by her total inability to tell the truth about who she is. Because here in Britain we value truth-tellers," columnist Mieka Smiles wrote for Daily Express. "Which is why Meghan's shtick has worn out so quickly."
