Brooklyn Beckham claimed David and Victoria Beckham tried to force him to sign away the rights to his name before marrying Nicola Peltz, but is that really true? If you need a quick refresher, the 26-year-old hot sauce entrepreneur took to Instagram Stories earlier this month to bash his parents, accusing them of putting "Brand Beckham" before anything else, trying to ruin his relationship, and sabotaging his wedding. But one of the more shocking allegations to come out of the whole thing? Brooklyn claimed Victoria and David "repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe" him into "signing away the rights" to his name before his nuptials back in 2022 - all so they could make a quick buck. He continued: "They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since." Related: Nicola Peltz Receives HOW MUCH From Billionaire Dad Each Month?! If you've kept up with the family drama, you know that this isn't the first time we've heard the accusation. A Peltz source told Page Six back in June 2025: "Before Brooklyn and Nicola were married, Victoria called Brooklyn and said, 'Daddy has a very big deal, you need to sign this contract.'" Brooklyn refused to do so, though. He did not share why in his IG posts, other than saying that signing away those rights would affect him, Nicola, and their future children. An industry insider insisted to Page Six last year, however, that the former aspiring model/photographer got it all wrong! The source explained that the deal mentioned involved Authentic Brands Group. David reportedly sold a 55 percent stake in his brand management company, DB Ventures, for $269 million to them. The source insisted the massive deal meant nothing negative for Brooklyn. In fact, the agreement David and Victoria wanted him to sign was supposed to "protect his rights" during all this! Huh? A Beckham insider continued: "The agreement that Brooklyn was asked to sign was to protect his rights because his parents have commercial partners who have some rights over the Beckham name, and so it ensures that the kids are carved out of that, of course. It's entirely standard and is to protect the family. Brooklyn chose not to sign the agreement, but it makes no difference, as of course no one would ever restrict his rights." Wait a minute! Let's get this straight - David and Victoria, according to this source, weren't trying to make Brooklyn give up the rights to his name. They only wanted to protect it by removing all their children from these kind of partnerships. But regardless of whether he signed the agreement or not, they never planned to limit his rights. If all that is true, how did their wires get so crossed?! Because Brooklyn is adamant that the pair were scheming with this deal! Well, the source went on to blame the Peltz family's legal team for causing all the chaos! They claimed: "Sadly, by then, Brooklyn had gotten rid of all his own advisers and was only listening to the Peltz lawyers who either didn't understand the agreement or were being deliberately obstructive." What an accusation to throw around! Wow! Perhaps that is partially why Posh and Becks no longer like Claudia and Nelson Peltz, too! Did the couple think Nicola's parents were being shady behind the scenes and deliberately sabotaging the deal, along with the relationship with their own son? Regardless, it sounds like the families need to sit down and hash out what really happened with this messy situation! Somehow, things got lost in translation! Whether that will happen soon, though, is highly unlikely! Brooklyn wants nothing to do with Victoria and David and is very much on Team Peltz these days! What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers?
