Josh Radnor and Chelsea Handler rediscovered their history on a Thursday, January 29, "Dear Chelsea" podcast conversation. "You know, on my way over to record this podcast today, I was thinking, 'I'm interviewing Josh Radnor, and I was, like, how do I know Josh Radnor?'" Handler, 50, began the Thursday episode of her "Dear Chelsea" podcast. "Then, I was like, 'Did Josh and I ever sleep together?'" Despite Handler's hazy memories, Radnor, 51, concretely remembered his past with the comedian. "We didn't sleep together, but we made out," the How I Met Your Mother alum said. "I'm happy to talk about it on the podcast if you want." Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy: The Way They Were According to Radnor, a pair of his and Handler's mutual friends took him to a comedy club event in Los Angeles two decades ago. "I think it was my first season hiatus of How I Met Your Mother, and I had a big, long hiatus beard. You came up to the bar, and I said, 'Great job,'" Radnor recalled. "Your first words to me, you said, 'You look like a terrorist, and then you walked away, but then, later that night, we ended up making out." He continued, "It was 20 years ago, and we didn't sleep together. I do remember that." Radnor further revealed that he and Handler didn't make out at the comedy club, but instead at his "little apartment." "Didn't you have a roommate?" Handler asked. Radnor refuted that point. Chelsea Handler Is Fed Up With Jo Koy Questions After Their Split "Oh, OK, I might be confusing you with someone else now," Handler added. "Now, anyway, it's great to see you again. I haven't seen you in ages, and now you're married." Radnor married psychologist Dr. Jordana Jacobs in January 2024 after keeping their relationship under wraps. "I got married! Two weeks ago. In a *light* blizzard. It was an incredibly overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend," he wrote via Instagram at the time. "So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us. To @forgedinthenorth for the extraordinary pictures. To @samspector for the extraordinary suits, but most of all to Jordana. I can't believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife." Radnor, who met Jacobs at a sound meditation retreat in 2022, further opened up about his marriage on Handler's podcast. "I really like the last year and a half we've been married, it's just felt very sweet," he gushed. "I'm pretty psychologically minded, and I can speak that language [with her] and she really loves stories and television and movies - and she has no desire to be in front, but her story instincts are unbelievably good. She always knows what's about to happen in something." 'How I Met Your Mother' Cast: Where Are They Now? Radnor also called his wife a "great shadow collaborator" when it comes to helping him select future roles. "When she reads things, I really trust her eye and her ear," Radnor said, noting Jacobs rarely psychoanalyzes their relationship. "I've had enough relationships where I'm, like, 'I don't do the f***ing thing.' ... I don't get in there and try and fix it. A lot of times she's seen six or seven patients in a day and on Zoom and that is closed for business, so we're just figuring out where to go to dinner." As for Handler, she's dated the likes of Ted Harbert, 50 Cent, Andre Balazs and Jo Koy before meeting her new mystery boyfriend in 2025. "We didn't really become lovers until about six or seven months ago. I invited him to Mallorca on a trip with a group of friends," Handler said on an episode of the "Call Her Daddy" in February 2025. "I've known him for years. I've always been attracted to him, but he was not available. I always have wanted someone like him in my life."
