As the Beckham family feud rages on, new claims about the Peltz family are making waves. Writer and "The Rest Is Entertainment" podcast host Marina Hyde recently alleged Nicola Peltz Beckham received a $1 million monthly stipend from her parents, Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner Peltz. "I hear, and maybe Nelson Peltz would deny this, but I hear that he said, 'I give my daughter a $1 million a month allowance,'" Hyde claimed on the Tuesday, January 27, episode of the "Rest Is Entertainment" podcast. A source, however, tells Us Weekly that Hyde's assertion is "100 percent false." Who Are Nicola Peltz's Parents? Meet Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner Peltz "The quote in question has no source because it is not true," the insider says. "It is simply a fabricated rumor made up from thin air." Nelson, 83, is an investor worth $1 billion and a father of 10. Nicola, 30, is one of Nelson's eight children with wife Claudia, 70. Nicola has carved her own path as an actress, writer and director. Writing was really therapeutic," Nicola told Glamour in a June 2025 profile, one year after her directorial debut was released. "My acting coach taught me to understand characters by journaling [as if I were] them-their relationship with their mom, their ex, their first love. I'd send her my writing and she'd say, 'Your journals are amazing.' Eventually, I thought, 'Why not try writing a script?'" She continued at the time, "When it was done, my producer - who's fantastic - suggested I direct it myself. I said no at first, but he convinced me. I just jumped in. I probably made a million mistakes, but I loved every second. I've rarely been that happy." According to Nicola, she found an unexpected new passion for stepping behind the camera working on Lola. Why Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz Were 'Like Oil and Water' "Acting will always be my first love, but directing gave me so much joy," she told the outlet. "For my next project, I'd love to direct [a project] without starring in it." Outside of her Hollywood career, Nicola married Brooklyn Beckham - the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham - in 2022. The couple are currently estranged from David, 50, and Victoria, 51. (The Beckhams also share Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14.) "I do not want to reconcile with my family," Brooklyn, 26, said in a bombshell social media statement shared earlier this month. "I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life." According to Brooklyn, his parents have allegedly tried to "endlessly ruin [his] relationship" since he proposed to Nicola. "It hasn't stopped," he said, claiming Nicola has been "consistently disrespected" by David and Victoria. "I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family." David and Victoria Beckham 'Feel Betrayed' Over Fallout With Son Brooklyn While neither David nor Victoria have addressed Brooklyn's estrangement, he and Nicola have made their peace with the strained dynamic. "Brooklyn's living his life," a second source exclusively told Us in January. "He's happy, rich and has everything going for him. He has freedom. He and Nicola are not sitting around waiting for a phone call."
