THR's Studio has been a fixture in Park City for more than a decade, offering actors and filmmakers a chance to frame their narrative while industry attention is at its peak, but it also provides something that's much harder to find in Park City during the festival: a moment of calm. This year, the Studio leaned into that legacy with a renewed focus on design, partnering with luxury bedding and home brand Boll & Branch as its inaugural design collaborator to craft a space that not only looks impeccable on camera but offers the comfort required for meaningful conversation and unguarded portraits. "Everything is about relaxing. Guests have been on their feet all day. We want them to sink into the softness and relax the moment they sit down." To that end, the Studio feels less like a set and more like your best friend's well-appointed living room-one designed with a winter setting in mind. Here, the frenetic energy of Main Street is checked at the door, and guests are welcomed into a relaxed lounge with plush sofas and chairs layered in Boll & Branch's soft knit throws and textured decorative pillows, including the Court Knit Throw Blanket and pieces from the Dream collection. Every element was designed to invite guests to linger longer: signature sheeting transformed the space into a calming escape, while curated gifts and cozy blankets were on standby to ensure visitors felt cared for and completely at ease. "We designed the set to feel luxurious without feeling precious," says Kristen Deyko, chief creative officer at Boll & Branch. "Every detail reflects the kind of effortless sophistication our customers love: enveloping softness, visually rich textures, and materials that look as good as they feel." Boll & Branch's 100% organic cotton Signature sheeting became the foundation of the set itself. Draped into sculptural installations, the fabric functions as more than a backdrop; it introduces a luxe softness and texture that counterbalance the inherent formality of a photo studio. Sheeting in modern, yet timeless shades from the brand's core color palette were selected specifically for their photo-readiness. Cream anchors the photo set, with earthy Oak and pale gray Pewter colorways shaping the video backdrop. Boll & Branch Court Knit Pillow Cover in H. Oatmeal; Court Knit Throw Blanket in H. Oatmeal "The neutral palette was key," adds Edmond. "We never know what colors talent will be wearing, so we need a backdrop that works with everyone." She adds that the backdrop is always the starting point for a set, but every single detail shows up in the final image, so everything has to work together. A plush ivory rug grounds the space and plump armchairs encourage natural posture and ease. Details like a tasseled Boll & Branch bouclé throw blanket, woven with soft Merino wool, and Court Knit Pillow Covers ensure the set feels cozy, not cold. Boll & Branch Dream Pillow Cover in Sand For Boll & Branch, the partnership reflects the brand's broader commitment to thoughtful design with meaning. Known for its ethical sourcing and long-standing relationships with family farms and generational factories, the brand saw the festival-and The Hollywood Reporter's Studio in particular-as an opportunity to demonstrate how textiles can shape not just homes, but experiences. "We're so inspired by the festival's ability to center new voices and unique perspectives," says Deyko. "This partnership allowed us to spotlight our own unique point of view in front of a new audience, showing how our textiles can create intentional, inviting environments."
