Win McNamee / Getty Images If you don't know what a gold card visa is, it's essentially a Trump scheme where if you pay a $1 million "gift" (plus a $15,000 DHS processing fee), you can receive US residency in "record time." It gives you the same legal status as an EB-1 or EB-2 visa, aka an employment-based green card. Trump has boasted that it's a "direct path to Citizenship for all qualified and vetted people. Well, she was born in Trinidad and, according to a former comment of hers, she once said (while criticizing the first Trump administration) that she "came to this country as an illegal immigrant @ 5 years old." She reportedly said in a previous TikTok livestream that she is not a US citizen. It is possible that her husband's 1995 conviction for attempted rape in the first degree against a 16-year-old would make Nicki ineligible for a green card via marriage. According to its website, the scheme aims to build "long-term financial security for millions of children by creating tax-advantaged investment accounts for U.S. citizens under the age of 18."
