Kim Kardashian is ready to share what really happened with those Meghan Markle and Prince Harry pictures! In case you missed it, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the star-studded birthday bash for Kris Jenner when she turned 70 back in November. Meghan and Harry had some fun, did a little schmoozing, and stirred up a lot of controversy! Following the party, Kim and Kris posted pictures of the Archewell Philanthropies founders to Instagram - but deleted them immediately afterward! The sudden move caused quite a bit of online chatter! Many thought the KarJenners snubbed Meghan and Harry! However, we soon learned that the couple demanded that they take down the photos to avoid more backlash! You see, the story goes that the birthday party happened during Remembrance Day weekend in the UK, which is similar to Veterans Day here. The royal family traditionally wears a poppy to honor the holiday. And while Harry had one on, Meg didn't, which upset the Brits, so the pair had Kris and Kim remove the pictures. The demand then pissed the reality stars off! Uh oh! Related: Why Everyone Is Saying Meghan Markle's Netflix Show Has Been Cancelled! But is that really what happened? Meghan, Harry, and Kris have not said a word about the messy ordeal, but Kim is finally talking about what she and Khloé Kardashian deemed as "Photogate!" The All's Fair actress said in part two of her appearance on the Khloé in Wonder Land podcast on Wednesday: "It was really innocent, which is so crazy. Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now, and they have a really sweet relationship." They all snapped photos together, and the mother and daughter went through each picture to decide which ones to post on social media. Kim stressed the family is never one to share any image online without permission, and they got approval from the Sussexes! However, everything changed once Harry and Meghan realized it was Remembrance Day. Ah, so it really all came down to the holiday. Kim continued: "We were told that it was totally cool to post. And then after it was posted, I think they realized it was Remembrance Day, and they didn't want to be seen at a party, even though it's already up, you know, and then taken down. And then I think they realized, like, 'Oh, this was so silly.'" Especially because they already were snapped at the Baby2Baby charity gala the same night, which Khloé pointed out. However, Kim argued Meghan and Harry probably thought the charity event "was fine, but maybe not partying and dancing on the dance floor or whatever." Perhaps the two should've thought about that before giving the KarJenners permission to post the photos! It caused more drama to make them remove the pics! It probably would've been better to just keep them up! But Kim ultimately respected their wishes: "So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day." And when the whole thing blew up, Kim wanted to capitalize off and poke fun at the situation! How? Through a SKIMS campaign, of course! She shared: "You got to laugh at, like, the situation sometimes and just, like, lighten it up and be - if everyone's taking it the wrong way, like, lean in. I was like, 'We should do a full Skims campaign.' Take the photo - even just us, like, I'll shoot you at mom [sic], you know, post it and then delete it, like, 30 minutes later. And then I say, 'Oh, sorry, I didn't have permission to post those photos for the campaign.'" OMG! We need a Meghan and Harry campaign for SKIMS STAT! Unfortunately, it sounds like the royals weren't down for it. Kim concluded: "If we just made it light and made it funny, you know, I think it would have been, like, received differently, but I hated how that was received for everyone. That sucks. It was just made into something that was so crazy and ridiculous that just didn't have to be." Maybe we'll get a Kim, Kris, Meghan, and Harry collaboration one day - or at least, one Instagram photo that remains on the feed! LOLz!
