The event was held by the U.S. Treasury Department in support of Trump accounts, a new type of tax-advantaged individual retirement account for children that parents, guardians, employers and other donors can contribute to. There, the "Super Freaky Girl" rapper elaborated on her support for the president that has drawn in criticism following her surprise appearance at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest in December. And that's not going to change. And the hate, or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all," Minaj said at the summit on Wednesday. "It actually motivates me to support him more. And it's gonna motivate all of us to support him more." She continued, "We're not going to let them get away with bullying him, and the smear campaigns, it's not going to work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen." Roughly a month earlier at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest, Minaj told Erika Kirk, the organization's CEO and Charlie Kirk's widow, that she has "the utmost respect and admiration for our president. I don't know if he even knows this, but he's given so many people hope." Before that appearance, the rapper vocalized her political opposition to Gavin Newsom, notably critiquing his support of trans kids. "Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids. Haha. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that," Minaj wrote on X on Dec. 12. "Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids. Not Gav. The Gav Nots. GavOUT. Send in the next guy, I'm bored." Additional attendees at Wednesday's summit included Marty Supreme and Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary, Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines, conservative influencer Isabel Brown, political consultant Alex Bruesewitz, Sen. Ted Cruz, Michael Dell and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. .@NICKIMINAJ at the President Trump's Summit: "I am probably the president's number one fan, and that's not going to change...
