Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group co-chairs and CEOs saw their studio earn an impressive 30 Academy Award nominations including a historic 16 nods for Ryan Coogler's Sinners and 13 for Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another, films they championed. Understandably, their dance card is filling up as Abdy and De Luca are confirmed to serve as co-chairs of the Motion Picture & Television Fund's 24th annual Night Before event, which will also feature a special DJ set by Diplo. Additional event co-chairs and members of the host committee are expected to be announced in coming weeks. "MPTF remains essential to our creative community, and we're honored to co‑chair this year's event." The Night Before event in Los Angeles - MPTF's largest fundraiser of the year that raises money to provide support and services to working and retired entertainment members of the entertainment industry - will be supported this year by presenting sponsors City National Bank, Delta Air Lines, L'Oreal Groupe and UCLA Health. Typically held on the Fox lot, the Night Before party is always a starry draw on a busy weekend. Last year's event, co-chaired by Oscar nominees Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and Cynthia Erivo, raked in close to $4 million. The list of attendees included Cara Delevingne, Cooper Koch, Keegan-Michael Key, Kristin Davis, Kyle MacLachlan, Yvette Nicole Brown, Drew Starkey, Henry Golding, James Marsden, Joshua Jackson, Katie Couric, Kiernan Shipka, Kit Connor, Macaulay Culkin, Madelyn Cline, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tyrese Gibson, Zooey Deschanel and more.
